Members Page

Members are invited to use this page to tell us who you are, where you work, and something about yourself. Feel free to provide links to your own website or blogs.

Here are some guidelines for posting links, resources and files:

  • Please post resources that are free or have free sections.
  • While some of the links on this space have files made with specialized software (e.g. Boardmaker), they were included only if they also had files created with "mainstream products" such as PowerPoint or files that had been converted to PDF. None of the links require only a specialized software product.
  • Materials have been screened for age-appropriateness and links that have graphics and/or sound that is clearly pre-K, K or 1st grade have not been included. Materials and activities designed for very young children were included only if they could also be considered age-appropriate for older students.

Hi. I'm Linda, the creator of this space. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and for the last 10 years have worked as an Assistive Technology Consultant at a regional special education center in Ohio. As a part of my job, I train teachers in Ohio's Alternate Assessment for Students with Disabilities. I decided to create this wiki to organize resources for teachers and others who work with students with significant disabilities, since it is often hard to find good curriculum-based teaching resources, especially for older students. I am amazed every day by the wealth of information I find online. Thanks to everyone who has created the activites and resources on this site! July 2009: I am now officially retired so will not be adding resources as often. Others are encouraged to join and keep the site updated.
